Desktop thread - Pick Yer Poison - 02-12-2012

In which everyone posts their desktop backgrounds. Take a screenshot using the PrintScreen key and paste it into the image-editing program of your choice, then save it and upload it somewhere.

I'll start:

Yay minimalism? I guess. I'm kind of a fan of backgrounds that leave my icons on solid colors. I could move 'em around but I'm lazy and messy with them.

My desktop is also pagebreakingly huge so click the pic if you for some reason want to see it full size :D

It's less of a desktop and more of a desktop/default browser location combo.

It's a commission! Super glad I decided to get it on a whim, because it turned out really great. :)

this thread gave me an excuse to delete all the crap that accumulate on desktop over time (i basically use Desktop as a temp folder)

missing is mydesktopmediafiles, which is basically my music folder, which got too big for my puny memory space, but is all saved away on USB drive

i actually haven't the faintest idea!
one just appeared one day
and then later it disappeared
and then it reappeared and has stayed since
the only time i've ever actually touched it was to move it next to the original firefox
