Fortuna: the Visual Novel - Futurdreamz - 12-25-2016

Referring to what was discussed during the speedtuna bakeathon, I was wondering how much of an interest there would be in making a visual novel?

Ideally a form of RPG would best suit the Fortuna style, but I'm pretty sure we would need a crack team of 5-500 trained professionals, depending on the scope of the project.

There are tools available to easily make a visual novel, so if we had a few people working together (programming, art, dialogue trees, script) we could possibly make something pretty awesome.

I envision an RPG the the level of polish and detail of a Paper Mario game (think the environment of Super Paper Mario plus the NPC details of Color Splash, battle mechanic unknown), but that would be pretty complicated and would need the aid of a AAA publisher plus an AI chat specialist.

But a visual novel would be a great starting point, and a pared down RPG (no patrons, you have to pick responses from a list) might be a good second step. I'm just wondering if there's the interest. I can pick up one of the visual novel maker tools.
