An empty room awaits inhabitants. Well, not quite empty. A table with an unlit candle and several wooden wands leans ever-so-slightly, with a bag of flour laying helpless underneath. A door leads out of this room, with a banner over it that reads "BOSS 1: UNLOCKS PLAYER MERGING". A growth of some sort of plant latches to the wall.

You grab the candle and whip it into your salivating mouth. Chewing the waxy part is easy, and reminds you of wrappered cheese. Once you get to the metal base, you feel your teeth chip, and swallow in pain and surprise. You proceed to choke and die.

You grab the wand, zapping it at the vines, only to discover that it is a wand of cold! The portion of the vines blasted have become completely frozen.

You read the sign, and as you get closer, you notice tiny, hidden text.

It reads: "BOSS 1: UNLOCKS PLAYER MERGING. Player merging is the ability for "PC"'s to phase into eachother and temporarily form another being, that is a theoretical sum of their parts, but not exactly. PCs merged in this way will share one body, and will not be able to maintain form if the majority of merged players cannot collaborate. Any number of players can merge together. Next boss: unlocks item fusion."
