Who are they?
I see their names but they aren't links like other users. Is it because they have special privacy settings on or different account types or what?
Who are these mysterious visages?

They're spiders from Google and the like. It's possible for forum admins to rename them.
Bachuru is the Japanese name of the Pokemon Joltik. Shornitoot is a phrase uttered by Schazer in a fit of sleep deprivation once.
I don't know if Itomaru is referencing anything.

They were named Henderson and Naamxe (and one other maybe?) for a while too, I think.

There was one named after Schazer's pet spider for a while but i can't for the life of me remember her name
