Whoops. I just realised that my earlier thing was Satie's Gymnopédie no. 1, not Gnossienne no. 1. Which doesn't help much, because I know a ton of stuff which does the same thing you're complaining about, but with this song instead.

Gnossiene no. 1 is literally one of my favorite individual pieces in the world. A deeply indulgent melancholy. I enjoy being reminded of it whenever I check Hawkspace now.
