Azriel: Yes, I have not told you of your skill set as the Knight of Dawn.
Azriel: This sort of information is... Something I am more inclined to share once asked for.
Azriel: Also, I was trying my best to be utilized as much as possible before you outshined me with your own might.
Lucas: What? That could never happen.
Azriel: Heh...
Azriel: Well since I've been put on the spot, I shall share a few of your skills that you're able to do.
Azriel: There is something I should note, some abilities are locked behind my own progression so you'd do well not to forget about me.
Lucas: I won't, I won't...
Lucas: Well?
Azriel: Yes...
Azriel: You have a skill that may be familiar to you, spotlight. This allows your words to have an effect on a monster's disposition if used correctly.
Lucas: Yes, yes. I understand my only skill I know so far.
Lucas: Next!
Azriel: Princess' keeper. This is a mode you can enter that allows you to strictly allocate your action turns to defend Alice.
Lucas: Hmmm...
Azriel: No harm shall come to Alice while you have this mode activated, however you cannot do much else.
Lucas: What else?
Azriel: Coming of the sun. Drive your weapon into the ground and a beacon of light will shine brilliantly, dispelling cast illusions, the confusion effect as well as madness temporarily. This light will also harm creatures of darkness and stun foes who are caught in its rays. It will last for 3 of your action turns.
Lucas: Oh that could have been useful..!
Lucas: What else?
Azriel: Genesis. Hold your weapon to the skies to summon a beam of light so brilliant, it can obliterate all creatures of darkness.
Lucas: Whooooa!!
Azriel: Alas, this skill will take some time to charge before it can be used. If you are disturbed it will fail.
Lucas: I'm sure I can work around that.
Azriel: Enemies that remain will be heavily damaged as well as stunned. Expect it to take about 3 of your action turns to charge.
Lucas: Is there anything else?
Azriel: The last ability for now is Helm of Glory. A great boon that summons brilliant light to envelope you. A sign of this would be a symbol of light over your head. This boon will create lots of light for you to see in a dark area, protect you from the harmful effects of confusion and madness, as well as half the damage taken when stricken with a blow from the enemy.
Lucas: Damn...
Azriel: Not only will you be granted a boon of defense, but a boon of offense, as your weapon will shine with this brilliant light doubling your attack strength for about 5 of your action turns.
Azriel: Should you desire more skills to your arsenal, continue with my progression.
Lucas: Wow, I was this strong and you had me fumbling around, for real??
Azriel: At the very least, you should find fighting to go your way a little more often.
Lucas: We'll be unstoppable, Azriel. Let's get this shield and go after that crazy guy out there.

I do not plan on returning to vote/offer commands for this adventure, at least not at this present moment (mostly because I'm literal years behind at this point), but I would just like to say how impressed I am that this comic is still going all this time later. I'll have to give it a reread at some point. :)

Derrick: If you spend some quality time alone, you'll hear yourself speak. The real you.
Derrick: Spending time alone and getting in tune with the real you is key to accessing this potential.

Derrick: I still have much to work on, but it's something you two can begin to look into.
Derrick: Lucidity is clarity of the mind, you'll have a much easier time doing all sorts of things you thought impossible before.
Derrick: This comes from actively seeking to engage in a relationship with your true self. Or what I like to call, your shadow.
Derrick: The dark unknown part of you that seeks to be itself.
Derrick: Its wants and desires are neither good or evil, simply a will to act.
Derrick: Lunacy is what occurs when you deprive your true self of this vision.
Derrick: Ignore your own wants and desires, hide from your insecurities and weaknesses, and they will fester within you.
Derrick: Ever see a weird doll hanging around anywhere?
Emily: .....
Lucas: Weird doll? Like what?
Derrick: Looks like an angel and demon. Split in half.
Azriel: Lucas!
Lucas: Hmm??
Azriel: The item from the box in your home.
Lucas: Oh that?
Derrick: So you've seen it before...
Lucas: Yeah, so what?

Lucas: It never became relevant!
Derrick: That doll eludes to a much deeper issue within yourself.
Derrick: If you have made no changes, you will see it again, and by then you may begin hearing voices... Your true self, the shadow... Trying to speak through to the surface.
Derrick: Further neglect, and the shadow will breach through to the forefront of your personality, acting on its desires without any inhibitions.
Lucas: ....
Derrick: By this point you'll be close to the same potential as if you had achieved Lucidity, as your shadow knows no restraints, which is what you need to be lucid in the first place. Lucidity is simply access to your shadow's unrestricted potential.
Derrick: But if Lunacy takes full effect, your shadow will desire to God tier in order to preserve its natural state. And this is the point of no return.
Derrick: I'll let Reggie explain his part in the next phase.
Reggie: .....
Reggie: Well, we don't exactly allow crazy Gods to rule.
Reggie: If you act all crazy when you've committed to being a God here I'm forced to demote you.
Lucas: Really??
Reggie: Yep... I've done it a bunch of times over the... Well long, long time I've been here.
Reggie: They usually run off into the void. Something I never understood.
Reggie: Needless to say, that's why the void is so freaky, all kinds of kids from old, all messed up and crazy wandering around in the dark forever.

Agreeing with the downvotes. The hyper-focus on Kremwahl is a personal interest and less in the best interests of the kids and the story. When cues or good times to explore Kremwahl and the other potential shadows come up, or we're low on options, that's a good time to poke our nose into it.
But jumping in feet first is asking to make a mistake that we wouldn't even be aware we were making until it was too late. Even the entity in question is warning us, and IP's mentioned something about in-character warnings before, I believe.
This is a survival-horror setting. One of the first things you should be most paranoid and critical of is unrestrained knowledge and experimentation. Fear your own abilities until there are no secrets left in them. In many cases within the genre, your own advancement, and you yourself, are the most dangerous pitfall.

Reggie: The shield you picked up heals others when you defend someone with it for 25hp. Otherwise it passively heals you for 10hp each turn.
Reggie: The dagger thing is a consumable item that debuffs enemies when you cut them with it. Attack and defense down.
Reggie: After 10 uses it'll explode, so try and remember that tiny detail. eve
Reggie: Derrick's green daggers are also consumables. Throw it at an enemy to ruin their day with Mephita's stinky farts.
Reggie: Don't be anywhere near them when they go off because it'll affect anyone.
Lucas: Okay, got it.
Emily: What about me, Reggie?
Reggie: Oh, your glasses give you 3 abilities. Telescope for farther vision, a flashlight, and a camera shutter that can flash enemies to stun them.
Reggie: Your shoes make you very quick. +100 dex and the ability to fly sorta, granting you fast travel.
