How do we know he's not packing some kind of overpowered godlamp or chaos powers or something? You don't just threaten a group of people without something up your sleeve. It may be wiser to just run.

I mean, he wanted the Cupid to get him a body, so we know he has some reason to kill people. Also based on his garb we can assume he has some strong connection to Eris or an Eris affiliated group, neither of which is really a good thing for us.

Well, Cupid wanted people to die and he still got us one of the radio members. This guy may be willing to get us more radio guys if we help him with his dungeon mastery. It'd be typical Volkronn behavior to rely on subordinates, after all.
