Okay Wheat has a fair point re: busdrivers.
Follow up question: what about the daykillers that are very likely hiding off to the side waiting to use said powers? I guess I'm just not a fan of sitting on our hands doing nothing when we even had a day zero for people to do some things?
Another option is to just play things safe and kill Dunnenergy vOv.
Regardless I don't like the fact that anyone is voting for Wheat, and am most unhappy with the people who are justifying it with the whole 'but I have to because I don't trust these other people' argument.

wheat basically exists as a potential sacrifice that anyone can use to avoid being lynched...if we lynch scum or 3p the result will be a wheat lynch...town could have reasons for doing it as well but it would be a silly play
so in conclusion the second we lynch correctly, wheat dies instead and someone not-town gets their items

Yeah a part of me would almost rather just get Wheat out of the way now because the longer we go on the bigger a deal it is for someone to have all of his items.

You're not wrong but that was kind of the point! It might be assumed but if it's not said in text you might get someone trying to waffle out of it and then people might go "They make a good argument." I wanted to knock those arguments out through the power of ad hoc legislation.
Right now I think it's more important to make it clear that I don't actually want the fancy things for myself (as tempting as they are) (i mean if they were free i'd take them but...). Willing to jump back on that vote if things shift though. Getting the opportunity for someone to cancel a lynch out of the way is a legitimate idea, though, because yeah, don't want to waste a day later. Man, public gallises have a lot of intricacies to them.

I mean, hrmmm. I really want Wheat to be a pinata, because fun and shenanigans wheeeeeee~, but the argument that that's probably at least a bit bad is valid. Would Wheat be okay with telling us what items are currently in the running via night 1? I feel confident just from the names I have an idea what some of the items do, and I doubt any of them are particularly pleasant in the hands of scum. As it stands, when Wheat dies, 4 items will be distributed (assuming lynch)
Some concerns:
- If one person votes Wheat, they get all 4+ items.
- Technically, something like a daykill could deal with this (by killing the one person on Wheat), but could burn a town-aligned kill ability and (Wheat goes back to zero, but the main lynch target died.)
- Additionally, Wheat only distributes items on lynch. Night or daykilling Wheat results in the items just going away (presumably?).
@Solaris: how do you mean? Do you mean just that there's plausibly a ton of 3rd parties?

Man, I never know what to do in these games
I really want wheat to live and grow peacefully, swelling up with items like a fattening hog, until he is ripe for the slaughter. Hot damn do I like me some risk/reward.
As far as weaseling out alignments, we gotta keep in mind the very real possibility of hostile third parties, the presence of which will make us die faster. I personally would not be comfortable with lynching someone today until we have some more information on what we're dealing with here in terms of that. If we do happen to lynch some scum, great. But right now I feel kinda blind, and swinging around a wiimote without observing our surroundings is reckless and dangerous. So I'm voting no lynch.

I'm not entirely sure if I want a mafia lynched today since then I would just put a vote on wheat tomorrow if I survive the night, and then who knows how that will work out. Can't tell if this would be bad or good for town, but it will certainly be frustrating.
If we lynch wheat I'd become confirmed town, or the most surprising mafia ever. I think the best way to work that out is only I vote wheat, so everyone knows someone on town got the items. We'd need to get everyone to agree to this, but if they don't agree they'll seem suspicious. However, this means mafia will just kill me before I can use any of the ill gotten gains I've acquired. Bad news for me.
Personally, I'd hope we can all work together and lynch either the secret 16th player or the vending machine, because I'm just dying to find out what their win conditions are.
