It's one thing to stand up for yourself, to learn more about your strengths and weaknesses, but it's another thing entirely to see people as disposable once they become ill. Understand and accept Kremwahl sure, but don't let your paranoia completely take over geeze.
upvot this ^
While Kremwahl is right is some aspect and that Derrick is ignoring vital and key things in his life that harm him Kremwahl himself seems a bit to eager to well to take over. He talks more as they are two is some aspect and pronouns "(Because I can, we're twins.)" this brings up many red flags. But like with most inner id, egos, super egos, ect he can't be completely cut out, a part of Derrick is Kremwahl and vise versa just as Bambino and Reggie are but even they are only parts to. Take even one part of yourself and separate it form the rest you will get a new person unaffected by your other emotions/personalities Kremwahl is simply a more survival(under current understanding sociopath) oriented person/part of Derrick.

Recognize that there must be limits to betrayal before the two of you do something drastic. Recognize that there must be smaller steps, like confronting Alice, in between terror-sessions like with Zendo's torture. Ask Kremwahl if that's fair for yourself.

Derrick can't control how the others are feeling and what makes them treat him in certain ways, and to a certain extent they may not be able to. If he ditches them the moment they aren't 'beneficial' to him (the wording used makes everyone else seem like tools), then how can he repair those relationships that are VITAL and NECESSARY for Derrick and us in getting them through this?
Kremwahl needs to be kept on a leash, even if he becomes part of Derrick wholly. He needs to be the backseat, so his will can't take over. Regardless of what he says, the talk he's giving sounds very much like trying to turn Derrick into himself rather than "We need to even/average out between the two of us." If he'd been preaching for that I'd be all for it, because Derrick's a doormat, but being kind and compassionate and understanding and permissive is practically his social strength. This sounds like it's trying to make him a selfish sociopath, which is, in many cases, considered evil.
absolutely agree, what's more, it sounds like he'd be turning into alice

I would like to point out, that all we have to go on is what Kremwahl is telling Derrick is true. He says he won't even appear if Reggie and Bambino are around. Honestly, we can't actually take anything Kremwahl says to be true, because we have nothing to fact-check it against, and no proof that he is what he says he is or that he is who he says he is.
For all we know, this is a natural part of the Lunatic Process that we were just never privy to before. We MIGHT be guiding Derrick right into Malice's puppet-y hands. Or Nightmare's. I also distinctly remember we're supposed to be helping DERRICK through this. Kremwahl wants to return some understanding of Derrick-as-Nightmare to him. All of this absolutely freaking reeks. Let us remember, the last time Derrick went red was in the Construct's Waking World. Which means he's not a figment of Derrick's powers/consciousness in the Dream World. He's either part of the construct itself, or an intruder in the construct, even if he actually IS part of Derrick he's more likely part of Nightmare, not our Derrick, who is not actually real.

I think it’s too early to make accusations like that at this stage. We’ve heard his argument, now it’s up to us to help Derrick investigate. Kremwhal also openly admits to being “part” of the lunacy and lucidity processes, in that he is the part of Derrick that is most prevalent during those states.
For clarification, kremwhal also said that he would only show up when Derrick is alone, as that’s when self reflection is the easiest. If Derrick views Reggie and bambino as part of himself, then kremwhal can show up when they’re around.

im thinking on the exact contrary as you, everything kremwhal has said makes sense, and working with him will bring major improvements for derrick's character, i'll elaborate more on this paragraph i wrote on discord, which ill copypaste under the spoiler

Spoiler
derrick and kremwahl working together and becoming one is the next logical development for derrick, hes been manipulated into the split personality he became right now, kremwahl is only agressive the way he was because of this sepparation, same with derrick, being incomplete messed his personality up, becoming dense as a rock, we need to merge them back to get the real derrick, and then we'll be able to heal him and nightmare back to life when he enters the construct, which we know will happen eventually
does it seem like we are rushing? id actually chalk that up to ls's story pacing
remember the lunatic lexii episode?
is there risk of derrick being possesed? kremwahl already said he wanted to work together with derrick,, become one and be in control together, they can talk and think for themselves, and if this new complete derrick goes in a direction we dont want him to thats what commands are for, keeping kremwahl locked is gonna make the problem get worse
THATS when derrick will be possessed even worse if shit hits the fan, and we cant just get rid of kremwahl either since he and derrick are one and the same
look at it like this, the calm side of derrick will balance out with the violent side, ying and yang
oh yeah and we need derrick to be whole for the moment nightmare enters the construct and to be able to restore derrick back to life dont we?
also, derrick achieving lucidity would be optimal for the time alice has to confess her crimes, so that moment doesnt cause derrick to spiral into lunacy (we now know derrick's lunacy trigger), lucidity counters lunacy
as for your concern about lunacy, this definitely isnt a natural stage of lunacy, i am sure that we arent walking into any traps, this is just derrick talking to his "shadow", every kid has one of these, kremwahl here is actually explaining exactly how lunacy works (i'd recommend rereading everything hes said and internalizing it), mal causes the kids to develop the bad kind of lunacy where they lose their direction and go murder crazy, if the kids actually develop a good relationship with their shadow while working on their problems (lunatic triggers) they gain access to lucidity, and immunity to lunacy

Derrick: Tell me about Lucia, along with my other friends. How do you feel about them?
Kremwahl: How sad, isn't it? Confirming your feelings because you obsessively block out your social awareness.
Kremwahl: But, since have you agreed you'll try working together, I suppose it's nothing to dwell on.
Kremwahl: Lucia.
Kremwahl: Our second favourite connection, she's a hard working passionate person who is starved for your affection.
Kremwahl: I don't give anything to keep the need low. She seems like the kind of girl to overwhelm you if you give her an inch.
Kremwahl: Right now being carefree and having no responsibilities is a position we should remain in.
Kremwahl: Yes... I know she likes us in another way.
Kremwahl: And since seeing her a bit older, I suppose it's mutual. She's a cute girl our age that has positive affection for us.
Kremwahl: However, she's brash and quick to anger. Something that might irritate me, and cause you to... Well do what you always do..
Kremwahl: This might spur on her negative behaviour and cause us to get tired or sick of it.
Kremwahl: Granted, if we were to pursue this we'd have a good year or 3. Sadly nothing lasts forever and we're still very young.
Kremwahl: Best to keep our priorities as the main focus.
Kremwahl: Other than that, Lucia will be our loyal counterpart and I will try everything in my power to maintain this connection as it's the catalyst to a lot of our powers soon to come.
Kremwahl: Garreth.
Kremwahl: Garreth is becoming one of our favourite connections rather quickly. He's cool headed, no nonsense and very genuine. He was often there for you when others we not.
Kremwahl: Although his position is not under you, I believe we can still benefit from this connection.
Derrick: Is everything about what others can do for us?
Kremwahl: Well, of course. What good is a positive relationship if you get nothing in return?
Kremwahl: Are you wondering what we do for the others?
Derrick: Well I know already.
Kremwahl: Good. If there's one thing I do like about you Nightmare, you never ask anyone of anything.
Kremwahl: It appears as if you're always content with what you have and even then still somehow manage to get more connections and more good will coming your way at seemingly no cost.
Kremwahl: Even with your meek side always showing constantly, others still appreciate your company which I commend.
Kremwahl: Anyways, Lexii.
Kremwahl: Another good connection. Like Garreth, she seems to always be ready and willing to help us. For example the favour we asked of her to watch Sister.
Kremwahl: Personally, I'd rather pursue Lexii than Lucia. She seems more carefree, more liberated, and charismatic.
Derrick: Personally?
Kremwahl: Meaning, a thought you have never once considered. If I ever refer to myself or my being separate from yours, it's to denote the feeling is subconscious, or not actually realised. Which is how I'm able to share knowledge with you that you "Don't know".
Derrick: So you like-like Lexii?
Kremwahl: Our affinity is not as high as Lucia's, so I'd say not really.
Kremwahl: I'm just saying our viability would coincide better and have a potentially longer stress free relationship than Lucia.
Kremwahl: Not to mention low expectations, something you could do well to keep enjoying.
Kremwahl: Lucas.
Kremwahl: Not one of our favourite connections, but is growing stronger. His pursuing our sister has us a bit wary, but now we pity his position.
Derrick: Sounds about right.
Kremwahl: I'd like to try and convince him to stand on his own if we ever get a chance. His affinity towards Sister is weakening him, and when their connection falls through, Lunacy is sure to follow.
Derrick: You think Lucas's trigger has to do with Alice?
Kremwahl: Nightmare, I'm sure anyone who understands his affinity towards Sister would not doubt that...
Kremwahl: Emily.
Kremwahl: Sadly, we haven't worked on building a deeper connection. But her actions have been used as examples that you wish to follow closer, which I can commend. Her willpower is something to watch closely to learn by example as I believe she is well on her way to lucidity one day.
Kremwahl: In terms of pursuing... Another viable match. I recall Lucas mentioning she had an affinity for you. She knows when to hold her tongue and doesn't seem like the type to anger quickly if at all. Much like you!
Kremwahl: Her long hair is attractive, and her belief system keeps her grounded in the reality she wants to be apart of. Strong morals makes for strong character.
Derrick: Do you like her?
Kremwahl: We'd have to get to know her first. But ranked on viability I'd say Lexii, Emily, Lucia.
Derrick: Wow, last place?
Kremwahl: Again, based on viability, which is the probability of a long lasting enjoyable, stress free relationship.
Kremwahl: Affinity wise, Emily is last place.
Kremwahl: Lastly, Alice.
Kremwahl: Our strongest connection. Her willingness to be of use is unrivaled. Which makes her our most dependable connection as well.
Kremwahl: Unfortunately, we've caught her telling lies and betraying our trust, weakening our connection by a lot but still ahead of the rest.
Kremwahl: I sense that Sister fears me, which is why she tries so hard to please you.
Kremwahl: As you've been the way you've always been, she may have forgotten I exist, which is why I felt I should yell at her to remind her of my love.
Kremwahl: I do love Sister deeply, which is why the yelling was quite warranted. Passionate connections brings out passionate emotions.
Derrick: I see.
Derrick: Hmm... I feel like I learned a lot about myself.
Kremwahl: That's one step to lucidity!
Kremwahl: While we're on the subject, care to explain why you've been sitting on me?
Derrick: ... Remember that time withe bullies?
Kremwahl: Oh right, that.
Derrick: I almost killed those guys. So easily... I had no idea I was that strong.
Derrick: I don't work out or anything. Just the sheer will of wanting to hurt someone made me almost kill.
Derrick: Could you imagine where I'd be if I had?
Kremwahl: .....
Derrick: Since then I've sort of been afraid to get too upset about anything to keep that reaction from just coming out.
Kremwahl: We were strangers back then.
Kremwahl: The uncontrollable aspect of your emotions like I've stated before comes from bad communication.
Kremwahl: But we're on the path to mending this, so you need not worry about any more outbursts like that.
Derrick: ... That's all. I was just afraid of doing something I'd regret and couldn't take back.
Kremwahl: I see.
Kremwahl: Understandable.
Derrick: Can you tell me more about lucidity?
Derrick: What can I expect and when exactly do I achieve it?
Kremwahl: Well for what to expect, great power with clarity. You ever find it was difficult to conjure things?
Derrick: Yes.
Kremwahl: That's because I was largely not involved in the process. The deeper parts involved with conjuring things are back-ended, which is my expertise.
Kremwahl: One of the things I like to conjure are maws. You don't remember because you were sitting on the sidelines, but during the fight with Zendo I conjured one of my limbs into a barbed tendril maw. Just one of the many things I can do.
Derrick: Wow...
Kremwahl: When you achieve this state... Is hard to say.
Kremwahl: I guess I'd have to let you know.
Derrick: Okay...
Kremwahl: Basically conjuring becomes much easier, and you may even find yourself coming up with new things (Like my barbed tendril maw).
Kremwahl: If we have two more talks like this in the future, we should try testing it.
Derrick: Two more talks? I can do that.
Kremwahl: You better! It's not like I'm busy or unavailable you know.
RE: Lucidstuck II - neferiusNexus - 10-12-2018
>While Kremwahl seems to be made of pure, cold logic, he needs to acknowledge the fact that he is very ill-suited to interacting with others. Convince him that you are still the best choice when it comes to keeping friends close and enemies closer. Otherwise, if you let yourself be dominated by your own inner power, which he clearly represents, then the compassionate side which is you will cease to exist, and he will quickly find himself alone and haunted by his actions... just like Uilios did.

Kremwahl is a sociopath. I don't even mean that insultingly, he actually is a sociopath. Trying to steer Derrick into being like him, rather than evening each other out, can only result in a Bad End. He's also getting more and more suspicious as this goes on.
The best way to tell a lie is to tell the truth. Every sociopath I've ever known, been confronted with, or worked to assist has known and lived by this idea. They find it easy to have people defend them - the same people that they are hoodwinking, no less. But there's always little crumbs here or there, incongruous statements or verbal context that only comes up once in awhile after having them talk for an extended period of time on the same subject.
Kremwahl is following my many experiences to a T, so far. Derrick should NOT give him any soft of free reign, control, or room to work. Instead, he should be harnessed. Keep him down, make use of the power temporary connections with him can bring, become familiar and comprehensive with those abilities. But for goodness' sake don't turn into him.

this would mean we'd never get access to lucidity, derrick needs to get good communication with his other side to attain that, this doesn't mean turning into kremwahl, if you didnt read my previous post about this topic, id recommend reading it, since i go into more detail there, but to reiterate, lucidity entails being in control and with a clear mind, and you're thinking kremwahl is lil mal (sure to make derrick lunatic), sure his way of thinking isn't healthy, but thats still a side of derricks character we must work with to get the best possible outcome, we have to steer kremwahl in the right direction, just as much as derrick
