You don't know what to do. You wanted to be the better person and find a solution that would work out for everyone, but you were too late. You did what was best for yourself right away, but spent too long shuffling your feet when trying to make the decision for for everyone else. That's the one thing that your Id always had over you. You ARE the hivemind! But you are also Laze. It was the last name given to you. It was after your home evaporated and your race had retreated underground. It was hoped that the brightest among you would be able to find a way to salvation.

Connie Cohen. Connie Cohen... What an absent-minded mess of impulse and self-loathing. You thought you could keep her placated in the background while you assumed control of her body, but you hadn't realized that her consciousness has been tainting your own. The longer the two of you share the same space, the more of you will be lost within her. She already thinks that she can assume the role that you were destined to take, and to humour her now would be the end of both of you.

For this purpose, you will eschew the aid of your people, your children. You will kill this interloper with your own two hands, as many times as needed, until no doubt remains as to who is the dominant consciousness.

You're trying to keep her alive. Ever since that worm attached itself to her face, goo started to come out of her body. It's as if she's producing it. You only hope that by absorbing it yourself, you're able to slow down whatever is happening to her.

Still, you're only able to hold so much. You'll have to vent it soon, and that's another problem.

Something started happening to the goo after Connie stepped on that brain. It's no longer dormant, and is beginning to change... The two of you barely managed to make it out of the basement in time. Whatever you expel is going to try to kill you.

Fortunately, you've got Phobia. She's barely been able to keep it together, but she came through for you in the end.

Well, maybe not entirely for you. Mostly for her sister.
