RE: Murder By The Book - Day 4: Life of Pie - Dragon Fogel - 04-25-2014 You Can't Have Your Votals And Eat Them Too Truegreen - 2 (Schazer, Whimbrel) eberron - 2 (Akumu, Garuru) icanhasdonut - 1 (Nova) Garuru - 1 (Sotek) Sotek - 1 (icanhasdonut) With 15 alive and active, it takes 8 to lynch and 5 to soft lynch. Deadline is Saturday, April 26 at 11:59 PM Mountain Time, about 52 hours from now. RE: Murder By The Book - Day 4: Life of Pie - Truegreen - 04-25-2014 OK, well I've gone back and reviewed a couple people's posts and I guess it's time to actually make a claim and post some suspicions. Alright I'm going to start this off with a Vote: Schazer and see if you can follow my train of thought here. 1. So far my suspicion of Schazer has been largely based on how friendly he was with Slorange, me believing Slorange was scum. With Slorange's flip I was quite thrown off. I have come to realize that it is unlikely that Schazer would have known Slorange's alignment if both were town, his rather dogmatic defenses of Slorange that often lead me to believe they were aligned could in fact point to the very opposite. It is my opinion that he tried to make the appearance of some sort of link between the two, borrowing some of the accumulated trust Slorange seemed to be building. It would work perfectly fine for Schazer, even if Slorange got Lynched he could say he'd been backing him the whole time. 2. It has often been commented that Schazer has focused a lot on conversations of mechanics and strategies, often making large walls of text an encouraging conversations of such matters. Particularly memorable to me was Schazer's comment in Post: #323 which attempted to polarize the community based on choice of strategy alone. Something I found highly objectionable. But I would have brought neither of these things up if it wasn't for 3. The death of the piemaker coupled with the two votes almost instantaneously thrown against me at the beginning of the day, but more importantly the lack of supporting argument alongside these votes. Schazer and Whimbrel both posted with no actual supporting argument, but Schazers strikes me as more suspicious. His remark on my statement felt quite inflammatory, more trying to cause trouble than bring up a legitimate claim against me. I believe undercover has tried to frame me here and I think Schazer was testing the waters so to speak with their initial attack hoping to garner votes and conflict. Whimbrel may have been in on the plot but I am open to the possibility that he was just a lucky break for scum in this part, unintentionally lending momentum to their initial push. RE: Murder By The Book - Day 4: Life of Pie - icanhasdonut - 04-25-2014 yo green a few things -nice softclaim you did up there -thoughts on eberron? also sotek if you feel like it -i mean two votes isn't really that much?? this game has a lot of semiactives and that's whimbrel RE: Murder By The Book - Day 4: Life of Pie - eberron - 04-25-2014 If anyone is acting suspect for voting without reason its sotek. Care to give a reason for voting Garu? RE: Murder By The Book - Day 4: Life of Pie - Truegreen - 04-25-2014 Eberron's past actions have often felt kind of scummy to me. A lot of flip flopping. Nothing too serious though, barring the Solaris 'No Lynch' bit. I would be perfectly fine with voting against them except for a couple recent things. 1. They've been rather informative, providing plenty of information about the pie event (Assuming it's true). 2. And this might be biased but they acted rather reasonably at the beginning of this day which wouldn't make sense if he was part of an undercover conspiracy to frame me (Which is my primary theory at this time). It could be a trick or a miscommunication or I could have read the Slorange situation wrong. I feel Eberron could be scum, but the evidence is flexible enough and there are bigger fish to fry. RE: Murder By The Book - Day 4: Life of Pie - eberron - 04-25-2014 @True: I think most of the Slorange stuff was misunderstanding how his role worked. But a fair amount of what you said, and your willingness to share your half of the pie, sort to speak, that while I'm no different then you are towards me if the vote came down to needing one to lynch either of us it's more useful looking at others and get a more spread feeling. RE: Murder By The Book - Day 4: Life of Pie - Nova - 04-25-2014 Ok yeah my vote's going nowhere where it is I'm watchin' u punk Vote Truegreen 'cause the two with two are both people I could lynch but that's the flip I wanna see the most RE: Murder By The Book - Day 4: Life of Pie - Palamedes - 04-25-2014 Sigh I was hoping I'd have better opinions on certain people before doing this, but as this is my first chance since last posting to do stuff and I'm not able to sort everything out I guess I'll just throw this pie right at Sotek's face. eberron, if you'd be so kind as to not say anything about this one right away. And thus the goddamn mystery of who got the third pie is solved. RE: Murder By The Book - Day 4: Life of Pie - Dragon Fogel - 04-25-2014 Event! Palamedes throws a pie at Sotek. At first, nothing seems to happen, other than Sotek being covered in pie goop. It's messy, but as he finds out when he licks his lips, it's also delicious. Perhaps the best pie he's ever tasted. But a moment later, a strange, warm glow surrounds Sotek. It carries with it a sense of serenity, peace. There's something very comforting about Sotek afterwards, though nobody can put their finger on just what it is. RE: Murder By The Book - Day 4: Life of Pie - Sotek - 04-25-2014 Um. Pala, if you actually had a pie, then eberron was lying about three pies? RE: Murder By The Book - Day 4: Life of Pie - Sotek - 04-25-2014 yeah hang on. That's four pies. 1) Eberron's consumed pie. 2) True's ... mess. 3) Cyber. 4) This thing. also huh. townfirm pie? I'll take it. RE: Murder By The Book - Day 4: Life of Pie - eberron - 04-25-2014 I only learned three flavors at the time. I wasn't sure if there had indeed only been three pies made or not and I think I never claimed a number during my pie post. Makes me think that the one I got hit with's power only showed me pies that had come into play. I still think Cyber got hit with the lurebait one, hence Slorange's nexus claim. True ate one and claims no effect happened that he could tell and I got pied. We were told the one that hit me was not the one Slorange made N3. I'm not overly sure if Slorange could make pies only at night or whenever he wanted till he made four of them. If it was night only then I'm really confused on the pie count unless Slorange started with a pie to give out. If its a whenever then perhaps that was infact a 4th. Jeebus, why do pies have to makes things so much more confusing. That said, the way this one reacted to you makes me think its an alignment detecter and making us feel comfortable reads town. Could be way in left field but thats my two cents on it. RE: Murder By The Book - Day 4: Life of Pie - eberron - 04-25-2014 And ninja'd of course lol RE: Murder By The Book - Day 4: Life of Pie - Dragon Fogel - 04-25-2014 (04-25-2014, 05:12 AM)eberron Wrote: »I still think Cyber got hit with the lurebait one, hence Slorange's nexus claim. RE: Murder By The Book - Day 4: Life of Pie - icanhasdonut - 04-25-2014 Well that seems like a daycopping if i ever saw one. unvote RE: Murder By The Book - Day 4: Life of Pie - Palamedes - 04-25-2014 Excellent. Not quite what I expected but I'm taking that as at least a soft townfirm (though eberron should be able to taste it now and thus figure out its name, and if not I will vote him harder than ever before). With Sotek off of my list of suspects suddenly donut shoots way up (and Watts!townread goes a little down, but not really enough to make a difference). Sotek, do you have a reason for being suspicious of Garuru and his super watcher ability? Because I can see a world where I could get behind it but it's an odd one and thus not one I'm ready to support all that much. RE: Murder By The Book - Day 4: Life of Pie - Truegreen - 04-25-2014 Garu could be a secret government agent sent to watch us while we sleep RE: Murder By The Book - Day 4: Life of Pie - Sotek - 04-25-2014 ... no, actually, I managed to forget that. Mostly I was poking. I'm actually ok with the results of the poking. Hm. Anyone know when dayend is? RE: Murder By The Book - Day 4: Life of Pie - Truegreen - 04-25-2014 Hey, we haven't heard much from Whimbrel all day, I'd like to hear what he has to say, beyond "mad spish yo". That is if he is ready to do so. RE: Murder By The Book - Day 4: Life of Pie - Truegreen - 04-25-2014 Same story for AgentBlue and Dalm, where have they been? What have they been doing? RE: Murder By The Book - Day 4: Life of Pie - Gatr - 04-25-2014 Alright, that mystery is gone. Now we can stop talking about pies maybe? I'm pretty much okay with either Truegreen or eberron being lynched, but more people need to commit to a wagon at this point. deadline is like 38 hours from now btw, so get those votes in. Around half of the playerlist hasn't voted yet. I'm looking at you, eberron, seedy, Palamedes, AgentBlue, Dalmationer, Coldblooded, and Gnauga. RE: Murder By The Book - Day 4: Life of Pie - Palamedes - 04-25-2014 Pretty sure I voted eberron a while ago? A truegreen lynch is pretty cool but I feel better about the various voters throughout the day on eberron so I'm sticking there. (Vote: eberron just to make that clear.) I'd also be amicable to a donut, Dalm, Gnauga, or Schazer lynch if I'm being honest (in approximately that order). RE: Murder By The Book - Day 4: Life of Pie - Sotek - 04-25-2014 Donut vaguely tripped one of my scumtells but backed off it. Pala/Garu/Nova are town. vote; Eberron per a super quick analyscan. I'll probably get something in tomorrow to at least leave data behind. RE: Murder By The Book - Day 4: Life of Pie - Gatr - 04-25-2014 look who's mr. 666 now! |
