Logically speaking if she thinks she's right then allowing Derrick to do this will result in an outcome she thinks is correct, or even desirable for lack of a better word, so she should allow it. She'd basically be "giving him enough rope to hang himself with", and it'd allow the outcome she is trying to steer towards.

This is the only time you will EVER see me tell Derrick not to put his mouth on something he probably shouldn't.
Also, kissing the maid on her hand is platonic, and has the least likelihood of Lucia misunderstanding their relationship and having the act blow up in our faces. AND it has overtones of courtly romance, so we could push it that way later on if we really want/need to.
