RE: Lucidstuck II - Shadowfyst997 - 08-15-2018

Man, this buildup is super tense. A LOT of things have been slowly pushed into place ensuring this moment could even happen, and now that it is? Man, I am on pins and needles :s

RE: Lucidstuck II - amobiaman - 08-20-2018

>Derrick: Tell Lucia about how the two of you always used to play in the fort you and your sister made in the pantry, and how recently though your new friends, you got to experience that again in a way by building fort kick-ass. Tell her about how you really wish she could have been there with you and your new friends because of how much that experience reminded you of her.

Dear cod that's adorabubble.

Derrick: Talk about things you did together, and new things that have happened or come out that she would have liked

It might of been in your head, but you think Lucia's expression may have changed slightly... Even for just a moment.

You hear the door opening, the two nurses and a doctor enter the room and begin talking to Lucia's Mother. She instantly begins tearing up again, but tries her best to restrain herself. You begin sweating... You look at your watch. It reads 11:58pm.

RE: Lucidstuck II - amaranthineApocalypse - 08-26-2018

>KISS THE GIRL ALREADY

RE: Lucidstuck II - neferiusNexus - 08-26-2018

>Derrick: Notice and draw attention to Lucia's slightly altered expression. With all your heart and soul, plead with her mother to let you hold Lucia's hand in her final moments. Keep your eye on the watch and kiss her hand at midnight. Don't let yourself be dragged away from her. Hug Lucia as close to you as possible if they try to remove you.

RE: Lucidstuck II - Shadowfyst997 - 08-26-2018

Maybe Gerry can make a distraction in the halls? If we can notify him(like us, not Derrick) he can make a scene that distracts the guards/nurses/Lucias mom, we'll have the time we need.

RE: Lucidstuck II - Ten11 - 08-27-2018

Guys, there is a 2 on this panel, under Lucia's hair. Which means we have to kiss her on the update after this one. Kissing her right now will just ruin everything. We just need a tiny bit more time.
And to that end:
>Derrick: Pretend to realise that Lucia really isn't going to wake up, that this is the last time you will ever see her. Ask why its happening, say it isn't fair. Cry a little. And keep in mind that while this is just an effort to try and save her... you might fail. This might actually be the last time you ever see her, she'll disappear from your life again without even a goodbye. Just imagine that happening, and how you would feel. And express it.

Command in brackets, for formatting and iP's convenience.

[>Derrick: Remember this woman's mental state. To her, she is facing the last few minutes of her daughter's life with some boy she barely remembers talking to her like everything is going to be okay. You don't have to point it out, just consider how your words might effect her, and try to avoid putting further stress on her without a reason.

Recall your conversation about spirituality. Explain to Lucia's mother that you want to do one last thing at midnight exactly, because you personally believe it has significance. After that, if it does nothing, then you will be able to properly accept Lucia's passing. It will only take a few seconds, it will stop the behavior that is upsetting her, and she will lose nothing by allowing it.]

Here we go using legal logic to convince the lawyer to get something she wants! Logically speaking if she thinks she's right then allowing Derrick to do this will result in an outcome she thinks is correct, or even desirable for lack of a better word, so she should allow it. She'd basically be "giving him enough rope to hang himself with", and it'd allow the outcome she is trying to steer towards.

For reasonings ive explained in the discord, changing vote to alt route vote!

RE: Lucidstuck II - neferiusNexus - 08-28-2018

Dammit Face, who hurt you?! x(

Also, slightly altered my command to incorporate an idea AA had about asking to be with Lucia in her final moments.
...here it goes, the moment of truth.
Five years in the making! xO

Lucia's mother may not understand it, but she has saved her daughter's life. And it's all thanks to you! With her blessing you may proceed with breaking Lucia's curse.

1. Kiss her on the forehead
2. Kiss her on the cheek
3. Kiss her on the lips
4. Kiss her hand
5. ....

RE: Lucidstuck II - amobiaman - 09-03-2018

>Derrick: First, Be the prince. Second, kiss the lips.

RE: Lucidstuck II - PenglogEnfys - 09-03-2018

Derrick: If you said that this is a spiritual thing, then it should be formal instead of romantic and honor your word. If this is the last time you'll ever see her alive in the real world, then perhaps things shouldn't go so far yet. Kiss her forehead, it's a sign of hope and trust for everyone involved.

RE: Lucidstuck II - calescentInfernum - 09-03-2018

Hand. 'Nuff said.

RE: Lucidstuck II - Panur - 09-03-2018

> Derrick: She's your Maid, isn't she? kiss her hand.

RE: Lucidstuck II - PBJBanana - 09-04-2018

wtf?

C’mon guys, this one should be pretty obvious.
Midnight, Cinderella/Snow white/Sleeping parallels...
It should be obvious how to wake up a sleeping princess, especially if as a prince. Okay, so she’s not a princess yet, but neither was Cinderella. And Cinderella also started off as a maid, so...

>Derrick: Kiss your Sleeping Beauty on the lips.

(09-03-2018, 11:55 PM)Panur Wrote: »> Derrick: She's your Maid,isn't she? kiss her hand.

Gentlemen (nobility) kiss the hands of noble women, though. And princesses (if they’re elite enough). I don’t think any gentlemen (nobility) kiss the hands of maids...Maybe a few do, but I don’t think it’s that common. And certainly not princes, because princes are too elite and fear for their reputations.

RE: Lucidstuck II - martialAcademic - 09-04-2018

>4. Resist the urge to blow a raspberry on her tummy and go for the safe route.

This is the only time you will EVER see me tell Derrick not to put his mouth on something he probably shouldn't.

Also, kissing the maid on her hand is platonic, and has the least likelihood of Lucia misunderstanding their relationship and having the act blow up in our faces. AND it has overtones of courtly romance, so we could push it that way later on if we really want/need to.

RE: Lucidstuck II - Noo5uke - 09-04-2018

JUST KISS THE GIRL.

RE: Lucidstuck II - bookofguns - 09-04-2018

>Derrick: kiss her on her forehead

keep it platonic till this nightmare of a dream ends.
