I don't think a terrordactyl would be a good body. It's suggested to be large enough to where we'll need to keep it in storage so that'd make moving it around the ship to do repairs kind hard. On top of this we don't know how articulate it's hands are, which could prove to be a problem.

The main reason isn't to give cleo a long term body
It's to keep Cleo from being in pain while finding a way to safely store her body until we find a vet.

You are Pal Iden! The great level 20 warrior of the southern lands. You approach the final room holding a level 10 sword of killing with one charge in it. It allows you to kill one beast, no matter how large before breaking. It will also break if you leave the dungeon.
Past this room is a teleporter that will instantly take you back home with whatever riches you found. As you enter the room the last monster of the dungeon springs out!

This monster only serves to be the last boss of this random dungeon, I would just use the sword of killing on it seeing as there's only one charge on it and it breaks the moment we leave the dungeon, it would be a waste to not use it.
What if it has something important to comment on?
Sounds more like not only a waste of my time, but also likely to toss me in to a trap. I didn't comment that there was anything about this place that implied there was any deeper meaning other then a random emotionless monster coming out to attack you, just like all other monsters.

I am stating what I believe are just facts, but it comes out as some sort of rude comment. It is extremely hard to tell what people think is rude and what people do not think is rude. It is aggravating to attempt to figure out what is the socially acceptable way to tell someone that their choice in fashion and gun combo is extremely clashing today, when you cannot figure out the emotional mindset of the other person, because you do not share a similar mindset!
