RE: Introductions: The Inauguraling - PepperYena - 09-27-2014 So I was looking through old MSPA threads... And I realized wow there were a lot of cool people doing mafias and witchhunts and stuff. I frequented MSPAF quite a bit, especially during its glory days when the comic updated regularly and there was a forum games section. I partook in a few things - DUELs, mafias, offshoot text/image games run by the topic creator. I even made my own - a horridly imbalanced mafia and a unique, somehow successful witchhunt. When I saw that a bunch of people I was used to seeing were here (Off the top of my head... Paranoia, Mirdini, Solaris, Kieros, APW, beruru, Palamedes, etc. (I'm missing like 100 people aaaa)) I knew I had to sign up. Who knows, maybe I'll try out a mafia again? RE: Introductions: The Inauguraling - Gatr - 09-27-2014 Welcome to ET, Poochy! Currently, the only open mafia is this one: https://eagle-time.org/showthread.php?tid=842 signups have been going on for a long time though, so it's not a sure thing that it will get started, unfortunately. RE: Introductions: The Inauguraling - Whimbrel - 09-28-2014 Welcome, new friend! RE: Introductions: The Inauguraling - Justice Watch - 10-18-2014 when did this place happen RE: Introductions: The Inauguraling - ICan'tGiveCredit - 10-18-2014 16000 B.C., the Cold War. Times were tough, we were cornered on all sides when suddenly Chwoka flashed everyone... ...with the MacGuffin! He truly saved killed us all. We've been in exile here ever since then. RE: Introductions: The Inauguraling - Justice Watch - 10-18-2014 Truly, a troubling past. I've just been exiled myself for stealing a goat; I hope there isn't much competition for food. RE: Introductions: The Inauguraling - Schazer - 10-18-2014 You have no clue how dang nostlagic that avatar is. RE: Introductions: The Inauguraling - Akumu - 10-18-2014 Hey you RE: Introductions: The Inauguraling - Justice Watch - 10-18-2014 All these pals. Akumu's nostalvatar is hitting me hard, too. Nostalgia is probably the one thing keeping me from changing to something else. RE: Introductions: The Inauguraling - Dalmationer - 11-06-2014 I recognise ur avatar hi earthexe ur good. also I don't think I ever posted here hi its me dalm RE: Introductions: The Inauguraling - Deeborm - 11-08-2014 I was looking for cool people on the internet, so here I am. Hello. A blood relative of mine who's been here since the beginning of time said you all wouldn't not be okay with new members. Plus, I've been around the MSPA forums before, as Catbread. Even so, I'm not sure what to do around here, so I will probably lurk quietly in a dark corner somewhere for a while. I write, and I play the videoes games. I have other qualities, but those two are easy to identify with. Here's hoping I am able to make the forum a better place in some small way. Now I just need to decide how to align my signature. RE: Introductions: The Inauguraling - Mirdini - 11-08-2014 Hey, good to have you aboard! I'd ask what genre of writing interests you, but unless I miss my mark that slug's straight off a Deltora Quest cover (checked, haha yes excellent). Though I might as well pose the question anyway! (what sort of writin' intersts ya?) There's certainly plenty'a places to flex your writery fingers 'round here if you're up for that sorta thing. RE: Introductions: The Inauguraling - ICan'tGiveCredit - 11-08-2014 Aligning your signature with the forces of darkness is obviously the best decision, as we wouldn't welcome you otherwise! I wouldn't say Deltora Quest is my favorite genre, though. When I'm writing, it usually ends up being a weird fantasy/comedy/drama. When I'm reading, I tend to stray toward those things. Discworld is a good example. How about yours? And yeah, I've heard of some of the writing project-things that go on around here! They do sound pretty cool, at least until everyone gets bored and the thread goes into hibernation. I might try one sometime, if I'm feeling up to it. Can't believe I didn't think of that sooner RE: Introductions: The Inauguraling - Dalmationer - 11-08-2014 Align your sig with the forces of kanye. Also pleased to meet you! RE: Introductions: The Inauguraling - Deeborm - 11-08-2014 Hello! It seems we have two opposing sides: the forces of darkness and of kanye. RE: Introductions: The Inauguraling - Dragon Fogel - 11-08-2014 I keep reading your name as "Deerborn". Sounds vaguely sinister, even if it's deer. RE: Introductions: The Inauguraling - ICan'tGiveCredit - 11-09-2014 that profile picture looks distinctly like a chicken demon in a crystal cave. What relations you have with the deer, I will never know. RE: Introductions: The Inauguraling - GenetiXientist - 11-09-2014 (11-08-2014, 02:56 AM)Mirdini Wrote: »Hey, good to have you aboard! Oh my god I didn't know anyone other than me actually read that series. Welcome, fellow person who read a surprisingly good series about magical gems and a magic belt! EDIT: I'm talking to the new guy, but you're also welcome, Mirdini, even though that makes no sense whatsoever. EDITEDIT: "That" being the term welcome in relation to Mirdini, who has been around since before I got here. RE: Introductions: The Inauguraling - WillyDeWulfe - 01-10-2015 Hey, my screen name is WillyDeWulfe, but you can call me Willy or Will. That's not my actual given birth-name, it just fit with "wolves". I've been told that this blows people's minds, so I'm getting it out of the way early. I was around on MSPA in the before times where I ran a pretty long Demigodhood. Now I mainly hang around Chocolate Pi and run games there. Usually my games are a little rules heavy, but I've made great strides in making things user friendly. I finally made an account here because it looked like the projects section could be good for me. I'm working on a tabletop RPG right now called Feats of Strength. The core rules are mostly done and playable, but I've decided on changing a core mechanic so I need to rewrite and tweak half of it. The Projects section seemed like it would be a good place to get feedback on it. I'll probably also be play testing it either here or on Chocolate Pi soon, so look forward to that. RE: Introductions: The Inauguraling - Akumu - 01-10-2015 Have you considered renaming it Feets of Strength and having it be kick-centric RE: Introductions: The Inauguraling - WillyDeWulfe - 01-10-2015 Well it's already Feat centric in that everything is basically feats. Like, small bonuses that build up your character. Though "Feets of Stink" or something along those lines would be a good name for a joke expansion in the far future... I'll make a thread about Feats of Strength in Projects in about a week. I need to finish the rewrite and my computer is currently in the shop. Athlete's Trench Foot: Deliver a swift blow to your opponent's face and simultaneously waft an aroma of pure nausea towards your opponent, stunning them. Forever.
