Hmm Cougars and Mountain Lions are the exact same animals. But Cougars are not birds and Mountain Lions are birds.
So is this a linguistic categorization?
Perhaps the source for "the list" specified one name over the other.

The cast of Who Framed Roger Rabbit is probably all birds, though I wouldn't be surprised if there are some non-birds lurking around in there.
